Balancing is all about good body alignment.
Balancing is like a meditation, concentrating and focussing your energy in order to hold the position. To maintain balance, engage your abdominal muscles and fix your gaze on a point to help you focus.
Repetitive movements such as always carrying a bag on the same shoulder or crossing one leg over the other throws your body out of alignment.
Take 5 minutes to perform the following exercises that will rebalance and align your body and counteract any bad habits you have developed.
If you feel any pain or discomfort stop and take a break, listen to your body and be gentle, don’t force the movements.
